Quercetin Science

Q-Force was designed using the latest in nutritional science in collaboration with DARPA (U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) with the objective of using the power of quercetin, and specifically Q-Force’s patented QB3C™ Formula to improve soldiers’ health and performance while in the battlefield. Research funded in part by DARPA demonstrated that taking Q-Force daily for 2 to 4 weeks can:

  • - Increase Mental Alertness
  • - Strengthen Immune System
  • - Provide Sustained Energy
  • - Reduce Oxidative Stress and Muscle Soreness Post-Exercise

“DARPA researchers have identified a very safe, natural antioxidant – called quercetin – and developed it into a new form that is now available to the military and the general public... In a randomized, placebo-controlled study, quercetin helped prevent viral illnesses, like colds and flu, after physical exertion. Following a strenuous 3-day exercise routine, 50 percent of the control group became ill with colds and flu, whereas only five percent of the quercetin supplemented group did. This important immune protective effect will help keep our war fighters healthy during training and deployment. Quercetin has been commercialized as Q-Force*…”

--Testimony about Q-Force was submitted by Tony Tether, Director of DARPA, to the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Unconventional Threats and Capabilities, House Armed Services Committee, United States House of Representatives.

(*within the Testimony the product was referred to as RealFX Q-Plus™ which has since been renamed Q-Force™)

Q-Force is now available to the general market as an everyday nutritional supplement

What is DARPA?

DARPA is a Defense Agency with a unique role within DoD (Department of Defense). DARPA supplies technological options for the entire Department, and is designed to be the “technological engine” for transforming DoD. DoD needs a place like DARPA whose only charter is radical innovation. Its approach is to imagine what capabilities a military commander might want in the future and to accelerate those capabilities through technology demonstrations.

DARPA’s innovations not only provide options to the commander, but also change minds about what is technologically possible today. They are largely credited for key developments including the Global Positioning System (GPS) and many Internet technologies we rely on daily.

Essentially DARPA is known as the “Think Tank” for the Department of Defense.
