Quercetin Science

Q-FORCE RESEARCH

Thousands of studies have been conducted globally to test quercetin's various effects, many of which have shown extremely promising results. Quercegen Pharmaceuticals, makers of Q-Force, is a leader in the field researching flavonoid small molecules. Quercetin and Q-Force’s highly bioavailable, patented QB3C™ Formula is a particular focus of its research.

While most studies on quercetin prior to 2005 were conducted using low grade quercetin containing large amounts of impurities, and in some cases heavy metals, the recent arrival of QU995 Quercetin with a purity level of over 99.5% has significantly changed the landscape for quercetin. Today, most studies around the world use QU995, The World’s Purest Quercetin™, which has GRAS Notified Status and is Food Grade. Quercegen is committed to optimizing quercetin's efficacy in humans through different nutrient combinations, essentially "cocktails" containing QU995 and other active ingredients such as Vitamins or Omega-3 Fatty Acids, and is continually pursuing optimal combinations in addition to its patented QB3C health formulations.

In addition to working with DARPA, the Company has also collaborated with the following Government institutions:

  • - NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)
  • - CFD (Combat Feeding Directorate)
  • - USARIEM (United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine)
  • - AFRRI (Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute)
  • - WRAIR (Walter Reed Army Institute of Research)

Other prominent Research Partners of the Company that have and/or are studying Q-Force and/or quercetin-based products for their wide variety of potential benefits on human health include:

  • - NCRC (North Carolina Research Center)
  • - Appalachian State University
  • - UCLA Medical Center
  • - Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School
  • - Hohenheim University and the Center for Clinical Nutrition at Stuttgart (ZKES)
  • - Enterprise Management Technology Transfer GmbH (EMBLEM), the exclusive partner of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) for technology transfer.

Quercegen’s world-renowned science team is continually collaborating on and pursuing clinical trials, and the Company will share data as it becomes published.
